Fire Spirit - A Painting
« on: November 02, 2012, 10:18:04 AM »
Well the forum, just went crazy and deleted my entire post and because I don't remember what I wrote, here is a very simple painting. I thought it might be fun to share something that isn't jewelry.

And one more for fun.  The electronic board is from an old fax machine that fell off a shelf and smashed into several pieces, this isn't quite finished yet, needs something to connect the board to the image to make it a cohesive piece.  I'm not a painter, never been taught how to use them properly trial and error and guessing, but I do love to create, even though I'm not very good at it.

That is really cool!!!  is it on canvas? if so, how about using embroidery floss to "sew" the board to the canvas.  just whip stitch over the corners...

The board is glued to the canvas, I had thought about using multicolored wire leading from board to brain, but perhaps Embroidery thread is a better idea, or yarn and sew that across the canvas to the head.  Oh neat idea!

Very cool, I love the idea of the multi-color wire.  It sort of goes with electrical impulses in the brain.  I am constantly amazed by how many talents people have in this forum.

That is the exact idea I was trying to convey the connection between electricity and the brain, one "Motherboard" to another as it was.   ;D

that's one firey lady!

I think colored wire with the board would be cool - to sort of "hold" it on - maybe run a few squiqqly ones across it, and over the edges  - but not sure about connecting it to the brain - that's already implied.   I like how the person appears to be looking at it.
