Link Help
« on: November 08, 2011, 01:12:08 PM »
I posted some new things in my shop and tried posting the link to my page in the shop on Facebook and in my LinkedIn groups.  Instead it goes to the main Handmade Artists' Shop page.  My things will only remain on that page as long as they are the newest things listed.  I was hoping to eliminate my website shopping cart and have site linked to my HAShop, but it is a problem if it does not go to my page.
Thanks,

Lisa, the link in your signature goes to your shop http://handmadeartistsshop.com/shop/Uniqlets,%20Jewelry%20by%20Lisa but when I try to take off the stuff after your shop name "Uniqlets" ( http://handmadeartistsshop.com/shop/Uniqlets ) it goes to the main page.

Is this a glitch in your shop address I wonder? Mine seems to be fine with just http://handmadeartistsshop.com/shop/bluehighways , it goes straight to my shop.

That's a problem, the link with all the %s etc is odd.

%20 is code for a space.  Not sure if that's html or another language, but I know it denotes a space.

It's because you have spaces in your username the 20% stuff is in there. There is no way to correct this as it is standard coding requirments. You still should be able to post your link anywhere, no sure why you are having a problem.

I had been able to, but now, when I go to my shop page and I copy and paste my address from the address bar, it does not go to my site.  I have to manually type the thing in to do that.  If It would work better, I would be okay with just Uniqlets.  When I put my link in places by typing it, it looks weird.
