Wow, congrats, Matt!
Yay, Payton!

I spent today doing a lot of work type stuff - office in the morning, court in the afternoon, mom's store in the later afternoon... had to replenish her soap stock since she sold 3 beer soaps earlier this week and add our mud mask & coffee soap to her selection too.

Then the bank to make some deposits, and home to finally get changed into comfy clothes.  Been knitting and considering some food since all I've had so far today is a Special K bar.

E's potentially working late, so we'll see what time he gets home, but Friday nights if we're not going out means Grimm & Fairly Legal.

Sandi, Peyton looks wonderful! I'm so glad she's doing well!

Congrats Matt on the show! Only 4 jewelers allowed and you get to be one of them. That is a HUGE deal! :)

Thanks to everyone for your support. Husband has a signed contract for a job so that is a relief. I still have my store issues. I am losing some sellers due to lack of sales, or too much going on in their lives. Looking back at last year, April was a good month. This year, not so. It's been s l o w and not just here. I've heard the same thing from other business owners. Good news though, the 2 new restaurants will be open very soon, so there will be places to eat on the weekend down here! I think every business down here did a collective "Hurray"! So, I am now looking for more vendors/sellers. I'm going through my email list of people I have talked to in the past and giving them first dibs. We'll see what happens.

Teresa...congratulations on husband's job contract!!

I'm sure business will pick up eventually...hopefully sooner than later...I am sure it is tough.

Today I'm trying to finish some crochet items for my shop and then taking photos of some new jewelry and the crochet items.

I think I've worked out a way to make photos much better....we will see soon!

Teresa,
That's great about the contract and I hope that your business is helped by the restaurants.
Dee, Good luck with the pictures.  I plan to take some today of some new items.  Pictures are always a struggle.
Pouring today, a good time to stay home and do things.

Lisa, I actually really like a lot of your photos.

I spent today avoiding the rain, doing some laundry & stuff around the house, and knitting.  Eric had to work today.  He's on his way home and I've ordered us dinner.

Life got in the way yesterday and I didn't get to work on my quilt a lot...  laundry/housework/marketing took preference.  But today, it and I spent a lot of time together.

I am quilting in the waves.

LOVE the quilt.
The rain was a drag today, but we needed it.  I made a discovery, my dog has a brief surge of energy when he gets wet.

That quilt is darling!

Well, we are back and I am off and running.  The weekend was a nice break but this week is going to be nuts as both Andrew and I play softball and the season has started  :o .  I am also working on a few new projects as well as a new special order; gotta love my brides!

Hi there folks,

I've been terrible at keeping any kind of schedule including crafting because among other things I got sucked into goodreads.com.

I loved the new article here! If I can ever develop an inventory something tiny is what I'd like to do. I was even thinking garage sale tiny, but most garages of people I know are multiple home not private. So,some good ideas there!
