I am going to make a heart shaped cheesecake after I go to the grocery store.

I have burp cloths for several orders to finish. I have a sock monkey rag quilt to make. Then I will work on some new rag quilts.

How exactly does one transport a 7-800 lb rock?
With a friend, a hand winch and a low slung trailer ^-^

Holy crow, Matt, better you than me!

Not sure what I'm doing today, other than rearranging the back of my CR-V, cleaning my face painting kit, rearranging my glitter tat kit, and getting everything loaded.  Wicked Faire is this weekend Friday - Sunday, and unlike my usual MO every year, I don't want to be running around stressed to the gills at the last minute.

I've got 2 definite full body paintings planned and some other stuff too.  This year's theme is Halloween, so I got contacted by a girl who wants - along with her friend - to be beheaded queens, probably Marie Antoinette and Anne Boelyn.  And they want me to "lop their heads off" (make it look like they've been cut & maybe stitched back a bit).  Yay!

And for the full body paintings, one is going to be a head-to-toe tiger & the other I'm doing part man/part reptile, with the parts stitched together.

I'm psyched.

Being Valentine's Day, I opened hoping to get some last minute shoppers. Especially since Sunday was a bust!
Have a wonderful day everyone! ♥

That thing in huge!
Larissa, we are planning on popping in on you at some point this weekend!  Andrew and I are, as usual, running around a lot, but we definitely want to check the faire out.

That's one heckuva rock!

Kim, that'd be AWESOME!  Eric will be there most, if not all, of the time with me too and I know he'd be happy to see you too.

I spent a good portion of today cleaning & rearranging my kits.  Much better now, and they make much more sense.

On the other hand, one of my glitter container exploded all over my tat kit, so I emptied it, wiped everything down (the living room is rather sparkly) and then took my backpack out back to dump what I could.  Of course, I didn't have the foresight to dump it OUT of the path of the door.  Ooops!

Eric wanted to know if I had strewn it on purpose to welcome him home for Valentine's Day & wanted to know why there weren't rose petals too.  LOL!

We just ordered in Chinese for dinner (he's not feeling great tonight) and he gave me a card, tea, a book, and fudge he got me... I gave him a card & chocolate.

You should have told him you did it on purpose!  Who would know?  As long as nothing explodes we will see you this weekend!

Feel better, Monika!

I spent this morning with my sister & nephew in the nephew's music class, then went to lunch with them.  I did more stuff around here, then went to a friend who sells face painting stuff to get some more stuff I needed for this weekend (3 colors of face paint & a body-safe fixative).

Right now I'm watching a 1945 Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) while I wait for E to get home.
