Thanks!  I think it went well.  We shall see.

Thanks for the well wishes for hubby's job hunting. He's at it everyday and has spoken/interviewed with a few. Turned down one becuase they didn't pay jack AND he had to travel. The travel would be okay, but only being a contract, no benefits of any kind.

Sad to hear you've burned out of law Larissa, but I guess I can understand it too. Lots of stress, and BS. I wish you well with your new "quest"!  :)

Hope all who are not feeling well are feeling better. The "ickes" are going around here too, expecially with kids. :-\
I'm plugging away at my store and trying to list new things in my HAFshop. You'll have to check there to see them. No time to add them to the gallery.  Grandbaby is about 3 weeks away now. Getting excited!!!

I didn't even notice that rhyme 'til Larissa pointed it out!  :D

Today I am...knitting more on my sweater.  I'm happy I've learned how to knit with size 2 metal needles without stabbing myself under the fingernail.   :o  It's about 4-6" less than my desired length so I'm close!  But then there are sleeves and the collar and button band....

I've taken up the mantle of creating a Superbowl field party platter for our friend's party on Sunday.  I'm thinking celery for the field, ranch filled ones every other for the lines, some weinies for the goal posts, I have blue chips for the Giants' side, maybe buy some red ones for the Patriots, then fill in the stands with dips and whatnot.  We shall see!  :)  Andy thinks I'm crazy though.

Crazy?  I think you're awesome!  Just make the blue chips win.

Tomorrow I'll be baking a lemon cake for the Superbowl party we're attending, and I *might* do mini blintzes to bring too.  Might.  They're a bit of a pain - really easy but time consuming - but they taste SO GOOD.

lol I'm rooting for the Giants myself.   ;D  So after Andy tells me I'm crazy, he helped me draw up a schematic (if you call lines on the back of Kara's scribbled on construction paper a schematic :D ) of the whole enchilada.  Then he started talking construction and all that, so I don't think he thinks I'm crazy anymore :)

I don't really care who wins.  I just know that we're having the other Lou Malnati pizza that we got for CHristmas. Yummy!! REAL PIZZA!

I'm at the store and it's so quiet today. I will never understand how people can be so fickle about the weather. It's a little cool, but not bad by any stretch.

I worked on my quilt for a couple of hours this morning.  Time to do the marketing and then bake some Amish Friendship Bread.  Grown kids informed me this morning that we are hosting a Super Bowl Party tomorrow!  LOL!!!!

Made lemon cake & mini blintzes today while E was helping a friend at the beer expo.  I'm picking him up in a few & then we're playing mini golf with friends.
