Oh, Teresa, mentioning my mom's store reminds me, since you said you have regular customers.  My mom's store is chock full of stuff and she's got lots of regulars.  Every once in a while she'll just move everything around, rearrange where things are and how they're placed, and someone who's been in the store 100 times will suddenly see something that's been there for 2 months.  So just a suggestion for you.

That's tried and true retail trick from forever ago! I do that all the time! In fact, I will be switching my hair stuff and earrings on my front wall. Thanks for thinking of me though! ;)

My husband LOVES doing yard sales. And he's really good at it too!

wow yard sales, painting,  rearranging, & fixing up - so many things going on!
I've been trying to create - trying to get on line, trying to get things listed and not really accomplishing much!

Taking care of a toddler & an 11 yr old is wearing me out! My daughter is soooo busy that I end up doing  a lot of the house cleaning & shopping etc - and then trying to juggle who gets on line & when is always fun with 3 of us wanting to use one computer &/or hooking it up to the play station to watch movies or shows!
and to make it worse, the photo editing program was causing problems on the computer so now I have to edit everything on Flickr - takes about 3 times longer to get anything done it seems like!
I am determined to get a few things listed!
and I haven't even made it back to the farmers market here to try to sell anything - no bus service this past Monday -
But, I love hanging out with my grandkids!

Worked a long morning, then ran to Lowe's for a socket part E needs, then to the supermarket for milk, pot roast, coffee, and sausages.  And bread.

Now, I'm gonna write a brief.

Save me!

Normally, I am too, but with 4 of us, I don't dare procrastinate at doing the dishes!!
I actually managed to get a few things listed last night and tonight! Finished knitting a pair of hand warmers - and starting on a child's hat.  I need to take a bunch of pictures, but need to see if my daughter will let me use my grand daughter as a model for the little hats.

Me too.  Which is why I'm still writing this brief.  Too busy last night watching Grosse Point Blank with E.

Finishing up orders and getting ready for two shows this weekend.  Also, considering a job offer of a full time job.  So, it seems that just as I get a plan together something else pops up.

Kim, congrats on the job offer, even if you don't actually take it.

I worked today, of course.  Not a bad day.  Last night I started cutting fabric for the knitting bag I'll be making myself.  I have a knitting gathering on Sunday morning and don't want to show up with my stuff in the brown paper Chef Central bag I've been using.

There's the difference in approaches to life, I would have switched to a prettier paper bag :)

When I was a kid, my mother had her knitting in an orange Halloween bag with a witch which, for some reason, was hung on my door.  I had nightmares about that witch chasing me but never thought to move it.

I used to have a collection of marionettes that I had nightmares about.  Never took them off their hooks on the back of my bedroom door either, except to play with them during the day.  Day, they were fine.  Night, they were monsters.
