Been working a lot both at work and at home and getting ready for my niece's visit this weekend!  Really excited to see her since she is all gown up now and hasn't been here is quite a few years.
Also, landed my biggest order to date...160 painted champagne glasses at a really nice price.  After months and a couple of sample glasses I finally got the deposit and ordered the glasses.  Now, I just need to paint a LOT of white roses!

Congratulations, Kim!  Whoo-hooo!

Thanks guys.  I really am happy about this one, well any sale is a good sale, but this one is something that I have taken a lot of time and effort to get so it feels good.

1. Congrats Kim! That's awesome news! Make sure you warm up those fingers before you start painting!
2.Lovely card! Congrats on your anniversary BernoullisAttic.
3.Hope today is a good day Matt. And may you be as popular today as you were yesterday!  ;)
4. Today is Sunfest in downtown Mebane. It rained, but it appears that it may be done. This festival is really geared for kids. Many of the merchants down here don't care for it because it's not aimed at making sales, and they close the street. Personally, I like it because it gets people downtown and it's fun for the whole family. I won't argue that more sales aren't good, but it can't always be about that. I would think that would turn people off.

Trusk, I know a lot of people do not like festivals and such that are geared to kids but my thought is that if the atmosphere is kid friendly the moms remember it and may come back later without the kiddos to really look so it may pay off in the end!

I agree - kid-friendly events bring out the whole family, and hopefully some of those window shoppers are back later!

I've been working on my quilt all morning and just finished a new installment to the quilt journal on my blog.  Now, I'm going to go work on the quilt some more!

I like the banner. As for the picture, I'm not sure what to suggest. ???

It's an annual thing, so it's not like it's new. Despite the rain, turnout was good and I had a good day at the store. Personally, I did not sell anything, but many of my sellers did, so that makes me happy! :)
