Thanks for the suggestion, but after giving Meg a bath, I'd have to wash the tub thoroughly before being willing to actually sit in it.  Sounds like a good plan for tomorrow, actually.

Last night I ate dinner, exercised, and then relaxed with the TV, a book, and a glass of wine.  I kind of stopped relaxing when Eric came home jumping around all excited over his lecture from Ferran Adria in NYC last night.  He was so UP from it, and so inspired, and said he's never looking at food the same way again.  It's even making him look at his BBQ sauce business differently.  Very cool.

Today is finally Friday - woohoo!  Working, reading or walking on lunch, haven't decided yet, and nothing planned for tonight.  The aquaponics system is trucking right along - we've got little leaves already!

Just got home from work, will finish loading and take off for daughter's tonight. First craft show of season is tomorrow near her! so a 20 minute drive before set-up is much better than 1 1/2 hours behind the wheel, dodging ice patches and deer!

Larissa, that's cool with your plants, after reading your blog, I was wondering what was going to keep the seeds from washing back into the fish tank, so glad to hear they sprouted

Beth- welcome back.

Have a good weekend all.

Hello!!! YAY I finally have a computer again!  Thanks to my very sweet son, who just couldn't get into my laptop, he just bought me a new desktop.
I'm still trying to get things situated in my apt, have most of it, but I think there just isn't room for all of it, so I think some of it is just going to stay in boxes for a while!
With all the commotion the past  5 - 7 months, I failed to update my credit card info with google, and seem to have sort of lost my lisianblue.com page, it now goes to a porn site!
I've updated my info and have tried resetting stuff, but no success, and trying to get in touch with someone there is I think impossible!

Still working on figuring out Windows 8, and to make matters worse, my son put an app on the computer to make it work similar to Windows 7 or Vista, but it makes it a little confusing when trying to follow instructions for 8 when trying to do something!  I think a lot of it is just me!

Larissa, wow I hope today goes better for you!
Kimberly, hope the rest of your day goes better!

Monika & Marty, I'm sorry you ladies can't get in and out of the tub,  I hope I can always get in & out of one, I love being able to soak in the bath.

Having lost all of my pictures, I will have to get to work retaking some and get some things listed that are ready to go but not listed.  Fortunately I did upload some of them to flickr, so I can get some of them back.

Gotta go get ready to go to the store, 2 long blocks away there are 2 grocery stores, Ace Hardware, Hancock Fabrics, Radio Shack, and a few others.  Kai has been staying with me, so I make frequent trips to the grocery store, but hey I'm definitely getting exercise!

Wishing everyone a fabulous day.

Yeah, I wondered that too, but if you look at the 7th photo in the earlier blog post close up (click on it to enlarge), you can see that there are actually two PVC pipes there, one with holes Eric drilled in & then the inner one.  The water pours into the rocks from that PVC elbow "spout" in the back & not directly onto the seeds, so it gets to the seeds more slowly than you'd think, and then if anything did wash around, it'd likely get trapped by that double PVC drain with the holes.  He did a bunch of research before building it, and based on what worked & didn't work for other people.

I'm so impatient - now I just can't wait for fresh veggies!

Kris, welcome back!

I had a friend who had them give him an estimate some years ago.  Just for a tub....way too expensive!  I don't know how they stay in business with such high prices.

We are excited and terrified at the same time because we are doing are very first vendor booth at the Sarasota Folk Festival on March 22nd and 23rd in Osprey, Florida!  :o

I have had to retake pictures of everything, decide on which items to bring and repackage our entire inventory. Phew! It is a lot of work but I want everything to look nice and uniformed. All next week I will be creating the displays and checking all my lists to make sure I don't forget anything.

Wish us Luck!

I know what you mean about staying in your home.  Mine needs a lot of work.  The bathroom fixtures are the originals...1960 era.  The sinks are from the 80's.  The kitchen is circa 1979 when my first husband and I remodeled it.  All of them are much in need of updating.  If only money grew on trees. :)

I would like a branch of that money tree as well!

I am going to venture into the garage and attempt to straighten some stuff up  :o  today.  Andrew brought work home so I'm trying to tippy toe around so he can finish, maybe that means I will just lock myself into the craft room for the day....not a bad idea!
