Have been sewing drapes and made cornices, my guest bedroom will be brown and peach, colors - some for the girls, some for the gents. I choose a French Toile to make them, with some throw pillows and some other small accessories....the actual bed covers will be Ivory....its so Purdy....
Here is a pic of the fabric. Just for the drapes, I added some matching tassel gimp at the edges....

Oh, Kimberly, you know I'm all about the antiques so you know I love that invitation!

Beth, I'm also about the penguins - love that card!

Glad everyone's having good shows & Monika - awesome on those sales!!

Same old same old here.  Had rehearsal last night & got some of the show's costumes sorted.  Work today, and NOTHING AFTER WORK tonight, which is awesome.  An actual evening home.  Tomorrow night is book club, so that's fun.

Also, I got my new earrings this morning from Lady Faith & I LOVE THEM.  Will post in a new thread about them, in jewelry.

Hi everyone! It's been kinda crazy for me lately. I'm on the Hometown holidays committee and it's crunch time now. It's a month away and we are getting things sorted. We were not able to secure and indoor space for the Market Square like we were hoping so it will be outdoors again. So now I am really hoping for good weather. One good thing is that it will be set up near the kids bounce house, so we will have a captive audience of parents, etc.

It is nice to hear that shows are finally going well. For the most part they seemed depressed so the upswing is good news!

I've been making new things and either posting them here or taking them to my store. I am also working with one of my sellers to develop a new line of product for her. her ribbon scarves have not been selling in any place she has them so I am showing her how to make them into necklaces. She liked the prototype I made and so did the other place she sells at. I hope this works out for her.

I just learned that I am a Great Aunt now too. My brother's son and his wife just had a baby girl yesterday. Time to shop for baby stuff. :) It's almost weird because I have not laid eyes on this nephew since they were about 8-9 years old. (complicated family history) I at least hear from them on FB now and then, so it's better.

I wish everyone a grand day, and sales, sales, sales!

It's so hard watching someone you love fade away.  Hang in there, Matt.

Congrats on the new kiddo, T!

G'morning, all.  Working the day job today, of course, and then book club meeting tonight, about which I'm ridiculously excited.  I really like these women.  And I made a double batch of amaretto brownies, which always tend to impress.
