Sad day today, I put my dog, Harry to sleep. He had a bad few days. He had lost about 1/4 of his weight. He had 18 good years and I will miss him.

Oh, Lisa, I am so sorry!  I know how that is, and it's just horrible.

Oh dear Lisa, that is so sad, I know, I too have lost.....when I was grieving someone send me this lovely Poem......
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His/Her bright eyes are intent. His?Her eager body quivers. Suddenly he/she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his/her legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Boy that was hard, awoke memories for me....

Today running errands, looking at one more town house, to the PO and I think I will start packing. I mean no matter what, I am getting outta here. And at my age I can handle only 2- 3 boxes a day....LOL

Wishing all a good day, regardless, stay out of the heat if you can. And yes Beth, someone was telling you something, stay home..... :D ^-^

I'm sorry to hear about Harry. :( It's tough having been down this path several times myself, but in your heart you know it's the compassionate thing to do. Reading that Rainbow Bridge poem again brought tears to my eyes remembering the 4 dogs we have lost. Harry is now happily playing with our guys and all the others too. Because we loved them, they will always live in our hearts. {{Hugs}} for you during this difficult time.

You are welcome....

Good Morning everyone.....giving one more concert today for the seniors.....

and some disappointing news, the Mortgage peeps cannot get my closing cost down to what I have available, I think I will not get that beautimus Town House....I have only so much money saved up and with the new rules in the mortgage business, the Buyer these days has to pay for just about everything, plus money down....so disappointing.....(sigh) will see what my real estate agent has to say...

What a drag to go to bed with and wake up with it....

Oh, no, Monika!  I was so excited for you!

Working today.  Stopping at Bed Bath & Beyond on the way home for a dish drying rack I'm way more excited about than I should be.  That's about it.

Oh boo Monika! But, the right place will come along I'm sure.  :)

I was behind the Google Maps car coming into Mebane this morning. Maybe that's a good thing. I thought it was pretty cool. ;D

Yesterday was a decent day for sales, so we shall see what today brings. Like I've said a million times, I can't predict. It's warmer, but still fairly nice. Rain isn't supposed to come until later into tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a great day, weekend, and many sales!!
