Andrea, so glad you're back & so sorry it took surgery to get you back to us!  I was wondering what'd happened to you, if maybe you just didn't love us anymore.

Sandi, that's crap that the event organizer didn't haven have insurance.  Unacceptable.

I agree, Larissa!  It's on my list of things to ask before I apply in the future.

Andrea, welcome back.  Sorry you had medical issues, but glad you are okay.
Teresa, that's awful about the market.
I did the market today that I had done a few other times.  I had what everyone says is the best spot.  I guess it just wasn't the best spot for me.  I lost money, this starts to become discouraging.  Of course, New Yorkers tend to leave town in August and most of my customers have been locals, not the tourists.  I found another potential market, indoors. The guy who runs it has been a bit sketchy about the pricing.  It is not listed on their site and seems to be variable based on his whim.

Glad you are back Andrea and well.... :D

Sandi. that just basically stinks, it happens a lot around here when the churches do their fall festivals for crafters, you literally have to sign a waiver....for everything....

Lisa, I know , these NY 's show up here in Florida, but they don't buy.....LOL

Good Morning everyone, it is going to be hot, hot, hot here, feel of the weather will be over a 100 all week. The humidity is killin us.....

I think I will attend my water aerobics today.....see ya all later.... :D

Back to work.today & not really looking forward to it - too tired!

Sorry about the sale, Lisa, but you're right - August in NY is terrible.

Wow, today is definitely a Monday.  The phones here are crazy, and it seems like everyone but me is going double speed.  I think I need a 2nd coffee.

I'm very excited, though.  The secretary of the Northeast NJ Beekeepers Association wants me to do some logo work for him as a barter for free bees!  It's funny, I was so tired and dazed when he first emailed me that I couldn't figure out how he knew I could draw.

Um... the HIVE?!  LOL

Yikes Sandi, I hope the antler people are honorable and take care of their mistakes...

My show was very windy..... (maybe that's why its called the Windfest) lol.... I did ok, but not as good as last year. Quite a few people  were visiting from inland where all the fires are making it very smoky.

It is wonderful to have you back Andrea!! I wondered what had become of you. ???

Seems like shows are not going well no matter where you are. I've been hearing it here too, though there are not a lot of summer shows since it's generally so hot/humid now. It will really pick up starting in Sept.

I'm doing my usual cleaning/laundry thing today. I am going to try and get more listed later today and this evening. I've had this burst and have made several new pieces. The one I tried listing the other day and lost, I just brought to my store.

You guys crack me up

Been doing my homework getting ready for my lung doc appt next week.  I want a battery operated nebulizer for when the power goes out.  Good grief...they're expensive :o

There's a real nice one for around $165, but gees Louise, all the different parts and special cleaning it has to have and this costs extra and that costs extra and this needs to be replaced every 6 months....well, you get it.

I know, it's crazy! I remember waiting in line at Walmart for my prescription awhile back and noticing all the diabetic stuff and how expensive that stuff is too. Keeping that in mind, I am determined to try and do everything I can to NOT have to be on meds and stuff. That includes my losing weight (36 lbs so far). The threat of diabetes was enough.

Planning on working in my work room today. Maybe a little sewing too.
