Aww Sandi!
Hope Mom & baby are doing good - and dad too! Will keep the little one in my thoughts and prayers.
Me, I'm going to try to get  both shops updated a bit.

Payton Eileen was born last night at 10:45 PM (Sunday's Child), weighing in at 2 pound 6 ounces.  It's truly amazing how someone that small can be so complete and wonderful.  She has a long road ahead of her, but so far, all the news has been good.

I have certainly felt all the good vibes being sent my way in all of their various forms.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Keeping Prayers coming, being the parents of 2 preemies, I can attest to the fact that she has a long road ahead of here. Saying that, if almost 24 hours later, nothing major has come up, then that is a great sign. Ours, especially the first, had major issues, but we knew right away. So it is very good that there are not any initial issues.

Congrats, Sandi!  I'm glad she's OK so far, and I love the name.

If it helps, a good friend of mine had twins 3 months premature that were just about that size and they're fine & 15 years old now!

As for me, I'm knitting another scarf.  Just 'cause.

It's been a long two days.  The neo-natal cardiologist has come and gone... Payton ha no heart issues!  She is trying to breathe on her own, so late yesterday, they started giving her caffeine to remind her to breathe, and early this morning they took her off the intubation and replaced it with a CPAP.  I think it's amazing how many tubes, probes, wires and equipment is needed to provide this tiny one with all of the things that were being done by the placenta/umbilical cord!

Again, all the news is still good news!!!!  HALLELUJAH!

Funny note...  at 3 PM yesterday afternoon, Mom & Dad went down to the NICU so that Mom could change Payton's diapers.  She couldn't do it...  she was too afraid she was going to break the baby!  So Dad did it instead.
