Fun!  I love the fox, both 'full on' and 'pulled back' :D

Can't wait to see what you make from the fat quarters!!!!

I am exhausted and can't wait for Thanksgiving and some R&R!

Thanks!

Today I got up really late, after staying at the day job yesterday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Yeah, 8.5 hours on a Saturday.  Blech.

But I got tons done.

I'm going to work on the bean bags some more, eat lunch, and from 3-6 p.m. is rehearsal.  Then I'm hoping E & I finish some candles we were making.

He's brewing beer with a couple of the guys today.

This thread seems to have fallen aside while we were all busy with the holiday rush, and I was reminded of it when I looked at the forum stats page.

Today I plan to help Eric clean the kitchen thoroughly and finish getting all the dishes done so he can make his first ever hard cheese with the cheese making stuff I got him for Christmas.

Then I'm going to do some day-job-related stuff.

Then I'll probably work on the scarf I've got to knit for that commission.

Tonight we're going to a party at the house of friends a town over.  In NJ, "a town over" means it's really close, which is good since I don't like to spend a lot of time on the roads on NYE.  Too many drunk psychos out there.

So happy new year to everyone!

What're you all doing today?

I love your scarf Larissa!  I am putting the binding on this quilt.

I won't list it until tomorrow, though, because I don't want to inventory it in 2011 for tax purposes.

We are having our traditional NYE party later today.  It's a small gathering of our kids and some close friends.  We throw darts and listen to 'dead people' on the stereo.  The type of music doesn't matter, but the artist has to be gone.  Everyone gets a turn at picking the next album, so it's a really broad mix.

Be safe everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sounds like an awesome party (my picks would be primarily Elvis, of course) and that quilt is GORGEOUS!

I will be making 6mm ID 12 gauge copper jump rings.  Each set of 6 to 8 rings takes about 1/2 hour.  Hand wound and sawn.  However, the futball games are on (soccer) and are interesting.

Also reading Austin's "Pride and Prejudice."

I admire your patience, John.  Wow.

And I love Pride & Prejudice.  Read it many years ago.  Right now I'm switching back & forth between A Study in Scarlet (A. C. Doyle) and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Happy New Year everyone!  I'm going out to "my" parking lot to sell some hats and scarves today!  even if I don't sell anything it's quiet out there and I get more done than sitting around here!

Got caught up in the Holiday like everyone else...but sounds like everyone is keeping busy!  Andrew's niece is here for a few days so we are just going to hang out today and take down the Christmas tree and clean up a bit.  I am ready to "un-decorate" my house and have it back to normal.  Other than that, just working out plans for the new year and finishing a couple of projects that are laying around.

I had to work half of today, then lunch with my family - today is my dad's birthday - then I've been mostly knitting since I got home.  Eric's working with his brother tonight.

We've been pretty busy as well!  Kara has been potty training (two thumbs up so far!), Andy took down and put up walls in the basement (okay, just a small section to expand the storage room and clean out the kids' play room), I knit a sweater for Jax

A ninja for Andy

and started a sweater for Kara.

We had New Year's at our house again, but instead of turkey we did chili, beer bread and lots of sides!

Pretty tree, your kids are adorable, and I love that ninja!

I'm still at work.  Blech.  But I'm over 1/2 done with the commissioned scarf and hope to head home soon.

Those kids faces are priceless!  I spent the day catching up a bit on computer stuff and trying to figure out my camera.  I finally broke down and ordered the Dummy book for it...there are just too many buttons and options that I just don't understand.

Thanks everyone!  :)

I understand about too many buttons!  There always seems to be so much to learn with technology!

Larissa that's awesome that you're half done with the scarf already!
