My New Sewing Table

.  As  many  of   you  know  my  hubby,  aka Joe,   is  quite a talented  wood worker.  A  few years  ago I found  a cutting  board at  a fabric  store.  It  is  36 inches  square and  I  had  no  place  for it but  I  really needed  to be able  to measure  my  tote bags flat.   Super Hubby  to  the  rescue!   We  found  kitchen counter top  in a cutting board  pattern an  inch thick  and  36 inches  square.   Joe  whipped  up  some  legs  and   I  am   all  set!  I  just  laid  the  measuring  board on  top  for  a perfect measuring "stick"   Some   of  our  family  members  laugh at  us  for  frequenting  thrift  stores  and  garage  sales  and  I  just  tell  them  "When   you  come  to  our house you'll  know  you  have  been  somewhere."
