Unfortunately you have to have a Yahoo email or account to join. I decided not mess with yahoo any longer.....

Is it okay for me to share on the flickr group even if I've been quiet over here for a long time? I haven't forgotten IBH, but have a lot of things to juggle. This looks like a good tool though - does it bring in views?


Also, I have a question about the flickr group - Flickr says in its rule that you can't use your page just to sell - is there a different rule for groups that form? They apparently have allowed this group to continue for a long time, so hopefully it's really okay. Thanks.

I'd like to join the Flickr group, but Yahoo's acting up right now. Trying to create a new Flickr acct w/email attached to this shop's account, but it's linking to my old Flickr acct under other email. I'll definitely keep at it, though, can't hurt to have things elsewhere. Lisa

I got a message from Flickr yesterday warning me I couldn't put links to my shops on my pictures. Has anyone else gotten a message like that? If I can't have people linking back to where my stuff is for sale, what point is there in having the account?

I deleted it yesterday out of frustration, but now I'm not so sure it was a good idea. How does everyone else get around the commercial restrictions?

Most times I post to Flickr through my Instagram account, so the link is the description I use for Instagram. I did add some links directly to the items in the comments section, so that may be what tipped them off.

I really don't want to give up the account...I think I'll just figure out how to get around the restrictions.
