General Guidelines for Contests
« on: May 09, 2010, 06:25:50 PM »
Post all your contest ideas here for participation and implementation.
Please have a well thought out Idea, for the most part, before posting. Then you  can work out the details.

We have the blog available for announcing the contest and for any contests that require polls.

Please also think small as well as big. It's better to have a whole bunch of small contests than only 1 big contest.

Also consider that getting 1000 people involved is going to be tough. So I think it would be smart to have contests be an opt-in type deal, where members have to sign up to participate. That way every one can hold each other accountable.

Contests do not have to just have a beginning and end, they can be an ongoing promotional type deal as well. So use your imagination step out of your comfort zone a bit.

If you post a contest here don't expect us to do it for you. The forum will help in anyway possible to assist and implement the contest. So if you have an idea be prepared to run it, ask for help, get a couple of people to help you run it.

Just some thoughts...... please expand upon these and lets start some contests!
