Monika,  please don't send the white coat boys after me  but when I opened the forum this AM with only one cuppa  the first  thing I saw was  "Be careful with lice...."
I am still cringing at those memories of Mama  looking and combing with the fine tooth comb....   ROFL

There was a newbie here a while ago that asked for assistance - selling all kinds of fiber things made from licensed Frozen fabrics.  I mentioned to be careful - that she was using protected fabric and that she could be in big trouble with Disney.  The response....  "I paid for the material; I can do anything I want with it."

Sometimes, it's like talking to a brick wall............

No kidding! When I worked for JoAnn Fabrics, I heard that a lot too. "Yes, it is a licensed fabric. Yes, I KNOW you paid for it. That does not mean you can make something to sell with it. Yes you CAN make something out of it, but only for personal use."  ::)

I just had the most dreadful thought.....   Are bandanas  licensed?    I  am thinking not only of my billdanas  but of   all those  bandana valances  I hung in the rooms of my 4 boys....    Lordy Gosh!   I may never get out of jail.

I'm pretty sure they are NOT. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Aw shoot, I finished a requested custom cowl for a guy here in the Springs with the Bronco head on it.  After painstakingly working this out, I was looking forward to making a few scarves/hats with the Bronco head on them.  Guess I shouldn't list them, right?

That's funny "I bought the material, I can do what I want with it!"

See that type of stuff listed all the time here and everywhere else....NFL, NBA, NHL....those logos are fiercely protected so be careful with them.  I've been asked before to paint licensed images and logos and just can't bring myself to do it just because I really don't want to get started down that road.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking I shouldn't do that!  I may make a few to take out to the parking lot with me, but just a few.  Just the  colors should be ok to list though right?

Team colors are fine, until someone figures out a way to trademark color combos!  Even list them as Seahawks blue and green or something like that.  It is the logo themselves that will get them after you.
