Site Support / Re: How Do I Manage Sales?
« Last post by MitchisMirage on November 08, 2019, 03:25:36 PM »
UPDATE: I just spoke with my customer. He checked his Handmade Artists account and it does NOT show him making a sale. So PayPay acted quickly, took his money and paid me; yet, Handmade has no record of our transaction. What does this mean?
Site Support / How Do I Manage Sales?
« Last post by MitchisMirage on November 08, 2019, 03:14:24 PM »
Shortly after setting up my shop this morning I made my first sale. The only way I knew that I made a sale was because I received an e-mail from PayPal. I received no notification from Handmade Artists. I have no record of making a sale on this site. I have no purchaser information, etc. Thankfully, the purchaser is a Twitter follower of mine and I contacted him on Twitter to inform him of the problems I am having.

I have attempted to contact Support via e-mail, I have posted in the forums and asked for help on Handmade Artist's Twitter timeline but have yet to receive an answer. My customer said everything went smooth and easy on his end. On my end it did not. Could someone please help me so I do not keep my customer waiting?

I just set up my shop and within an hour made a sale. I cannot find where to communicate with my customer, his order choice, address, etc etc. Where do I find this info? How do I manage sales?
General Discussion / Sewing Machine cord

I was  having  a  terrible  time  with  my  machine  cord....   If  it  slipped out of  place  and  fell into the dark  hole  under  my  sewing  table I had  trouble  finding it  and  more  trouble  getting  up  off  the  floor.  I  tied  a  length  of  purple  ribbon  around  the  cord near the end   that  goes  into the machine  so  at  least  I  can  find  it  when  it  falls  on the  floor.   I  just  roll  around  on  my  task  chair  till  I  see it.   Then   I pick  it  up  and  get  back  to  work.

Site Support / Site glitch won’t let me list anything- frustrating
« Last post by DesignsByJody on October 23, 2019, 07:23:46 AM »
I found this sight and I was very happy, thought I found a new home for my growing craft business after being burned by Etsy. I was wrong I guess because the site took my money and doesn’t even work. Put in my paypal email several times and says saved successfully. Only to try to list an item and be asked again for it.  I can’t even list anything because it is a problem with the site. I’ve tried on several different browsers, still doesn’t work. Contacted customer support and technical support a few days ago, neither one bothered to reply. Very frustrating! Took my money and I can’t even use the site. Awful customer service! Maybe I’ll try Etsy again. At least I can get in contact with someone if there is a problem there.

I just finished some labradorite pendants using silver plated wire (1.2 and 0.3 mm). Most of the jewelry I make is inspired by fantasy and nature. You can check more of my work at my Etsy shop:

Hello everyone! That's an impressive compilation of blogs and sites :D . But how about Instagram? In my opinion it has become one of the most popular business platforms, they even have special business acounts or such purposes. I think you should try to promote your product there. Furthermore, with you will be able to gain more and more followers, likes and views, and as a result more popularity. It also offers free 7 days trial to see if it works personally for you. And in case you have a lot to do, you don't need to beworried about anything - the program does everything itself.
