Ahhh!  I'm so sorry, I got sidetracked and forget to check back here.   ;)  Thank you!  The pics you chose were good.  (By the way, that isn't me in any of those pictures, I'm a dude type thing.)

When I open up the link, I am given the option to vote or see the results.  Very strange.   But the vote count does seem to have changed since the last time I viewed it.

I love what everyone has put up.  This kind of contest is my favorite sort, because you have no idea what people are going to do.

If anyone wants detailed info on how to do a parasol like that, I might be taking it apart, so I can get all the pictures I didn't get while making it.

Since my pictures are kind of huge and I don't want to mess with posting them on this forum, here is a link to my blog:

It didn't turn out like how I envisioned, but I learned a lot and had fun.  No pattern was involved.  And now if I need to make a small parasol in the future I'll have some idea of how to do it.

I have to say that it was definitely worth it to pick something I didn't have any experience with.  I'll try this for future contests.

I'd like to know how many as well.  I know that I'm happily working away on my project.  :D  After struggling to come up with an idea, I thought, "What project do I think is most ill-suited for a shirt?" and went with that.

I'm so happy to hear that we have until the 8th to complete it!  I am somewhere between three fourths of the way and halfway done, depending on what else I am able to accomplish between now and the deadline.  So I am very happy for the leeway.

Thanks.  I am a little sad because I just discovered the Angelowe half of Angelowe and Dalavaccio is making a corset out of two shirts and just started yesterday.  But she started before I mentioned the contest so we couldn't get a picture of the shirts.

I think I might follow her lead, only I'll make a doublet.

I think most people who spend time online know to either ask what those mean or to look them up if they don't know.  Also, there have been a lot of commercials lately using the term BFF, haven't there?  So there should be some visibility for it...
