I'm curious, how many of you use Instagram for your business? Did you start the account just for your business or do you use it for personal use as well? Also, what are some ways in which you increased your followers?

I use Instagram daily, I post pics of my work and random pics about art things. I have a personal account which I keep separate from my business ones and I find that #hastags are the most important thing. If I put up a pic with bad hashtags i get no likes but if i get creative with them I get more as for followers I guess it can take time

I'm pretty new here to Handmade Artists but when I go to markets of course all stall holders chat about markets they been to and what they use to advertise their business and what pages they are on. As I only attend Craft and Handmade markets I myself am surprised that no one knows of this site but after having been on a few different sites (etsy, zibbet and made it) I find this site to be the most affordable for unlimited listing and give everyone my card as it has my site on it and hopefully that helps get the word around, well in Melbourne Australia anyway.

Thanks for cropping the pic I was trying to do that on my computer yesterday but we were not communicating at all. I enjoy drawing the manga dolls as i think they so cute with there attitude

thanks the coloured card was just the backing but I see what you mean by distracting from the picture, will keep that in mind for future pics
