I was also happy with the number of views early on and then I found out they were coming from Twitter and have not translated into sales. I have had one sale!  I've changed up the shop,tried to diversify it more,have unique products from my other shop and need feedback  What do you guys think I need to do to improve the sales likelihood? :o Susan

I WILL post,even if the answers produce ore questions. I'll try to be very specific,Like: If you post the same listing on more than one site does it keep you off the search lists?
Ofcourse I recognize that your description (and even pictures) must be different but I am curious about the meaning of multiple content.
I appreciate the repost of the hand made article above.

John,sorry. Just looked you up. My husband is also a PhD., just retired from Washington University, St. Louis. I know some of the language.   Haha.  I also was in education: high school English teacher, morphed into quilting instructor, Community College. Jon- I didn't know how to post a comment/question in the chatroom!! Just start typing in the box? I was clicking my name and nothing happened.     I joined HA last October. I have had one sale and not too many on Etsy this year. I also used to be on Artfire but signed off when they started selling commercial products.  First question: Can you have the same listing on HA and on Etsy or does that constitute "duplicate listings" and knock you out of the suggestion lists?

I have found the forums difficult to use. Once the topic,  has been posted it is easier to answer it than to start one. Infact
when I wrote out this topic it was too long and there was no prompt about a new topic. It seems to take a while to get things moving on this site. How long should I wait before checking?
What is this about signature on a post? I am not keeping a blog. I do not have a website.What should I refer people to?  I am hoping to work on this shop this week and hope I can consult with you again after I have.  Thnaks very much for responding.  Susan Tenthousandthreads

Hello. I have a lot of specific questions to ask sellers who are selling on this site and I just wrote them all out and posted it in New Messages to Forums-General discussion. (did not go out.) Is there anyone who would be willing to mentor me? I find this site confusing. :)

Glad to hear it. Easier peer discussion would be nice. Also, given the huge number of views why can't I make a sale? Could you do something more about our knowing whether any of these views are serious?
