Trial and error.  This works, that doesn't.  Try it again.  It can be daunting, but when you get it right and things start coming together the momentum will pick up and it becomes a labor of love instead of a dreaded chore.

get cross the failure and find the right direction, so that i can get closer to my destination.

i can't remember how many desicion i have made, i decide to make two dolls for my best friend, while i have failed for several times, Every time, when i intend to give up , my mom siad "every success stories begin with failure", now, i just want to ask you, does your sucess begin with failure? how do you get through the down mood at that moment.

Not always the same, the investigation, preparation and learning progress would help a lot in advance. :) Sum up experience from the failure would gain you more skills to be successful!

yeah, i got it , thank you.

General Discussion / Re: When do you get to bed at night?

Depending on the project I may not go to bed at all and pull an "all-nighter", which is never good.

I try to be reasonable about it and try to get to bed or at least be relaxing by about 11:00 p.m.

Lack of sleep will do a great harm do your body, so take care of your body, don't sleep so late, we all know that work is never end, so don't Sacrifice your  sleep time.

General Discussion / Re: Do you work at weekend?
« on: March 10, 2013, 10:38:08 PM »
I don't keep a schedule well.  I work a part time job and with the kids schedule I generally work whenever I can which can be weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Maybe one day I can have a set schedule...one day...

A flexible schedule will help you a lot . Hope we will not work at weekend anymore.

Have to say that I work a lot at the weekends!  :(  Well, have no full time to have a rest without the the interruption from work, Guess it will be better after some adjustment was done!

i guess, you should improve your work efficiency, so that your work can not take over your rest time.

Yeah, nice ask! I have experienced it for so many time fear that the idea and the passion for making it would be gone when I put it off to tomorrow. :) But still think a great project worth burning the mid-night oil.   ^-^

i all should learn that put something down and go to bed, the creative idea will not disappear .

Every.  Single. Night.

i feel better now, because many people have the same feeling with me. I think sleep is the most important thing for us, so let your minds come along with your bodies.

I also love beaded jewelry, but do some wire work as well.  Now I am into quilling and find that very calming and restful.  But like many I do many things.  I don't sell or list them all, but they are around.  I paint and sew and crochet and even build things sometimes.  I have fount that whatever I need can usually be created by my own two hands with a little support from my favorite toy store.

Does your toy store on line? all of the toys are made by  you?

General Discussion / Re: why do you choose to be a crafter?
« on: March 06, 2013, 03:14:25 AM »
Just for personal hobby to get myself out of daily trivial, for peace and thinking on myself. :)

The happinest thing in the world is that we can do things we like and make them as our career.

I find it very rewarding and fun.  Always trying to come up with new ideas.  I've discovered that my animal cards are a huge hit.  So, I am concentrating a bit more on them than my other cards.  However, with that said, I do get tired of being in "Animal land", so I will branch out and try other types of cards.  I have a lot of repeat customers and a lot of happy  customers, so it makes it so worthwhile.

I know that customer is your back. Animal card? i 've not seen it before.

Most of the time, i think the crafters are always in a contest between their minds and their bodies, especially, when they have a good idea, their body tell them "you need to sleep now" while the mind said"you need to work'. Do you have the same experience?
