Not sure I understand it truly other than the gravity of losing bee populations for all farmers and even urban growers like myself.  Do you or does anyone have any idea what is causing this decimation of the bee population?

Hi everyone.  I know, it's been a long while.  Computer issues, so not on much at all.  Just reading everything I have missed today.  I hope to be back soon.

Kinda busy around here, gardening, (trying to keep it alive).  Radishes are going great, need to replant, tomatos coming along, squash trying to die on me, broccoli doing great, will be ready in a few weeks.

My daughter and I have made a huge decision for our lives.  We have long been sickened by the way farm animals are treated, fed, slaughtered, handled in general, but hesitated to make drastic changes because we are meat eaters.  We considered going to a local farmer at slaughter to get good beef, chicken and pork, but that did not seem to suit us either.  SOOOOOOOOO, after watching several documentaries from the scientific and clinical perspective, we have decided to go vegan.  Yeah, right?  Not sure if we can do it completely, but we are definitely going to try.

Predominantly, our decision was based on medical evidence of regression, self healing of diseases that we deal with, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis,  etc. etc.  Clinical studies have shown that these issues can be reveresed with this type of diet.  We have done our homework and know that this is best for us and hope that we succeed.  Not only will it help her and I, it will mostly likely have an even more positive effect on Jaeden.

We will be starting with a 10 day juice fast (as soon as the juicer arrives) to kick start our journey and reboot our taste buds to prepare us for whole food plant based diet.  Wish us luck and say a few prayers that we succeed.

Be back soon to continue reading and updating on our progress and just in general staying in touch.

Much love to all

I have loved reading your posts.  Not that I understand much of anything you are saying, with splits, nucs, fish hives etc. but it is enjoyable.

Question are you having any trouble keeping your hives growing or alive.  I have read so much about bees dying lately, I was concerned.

Thanks

Great idea.  Love it.  I like Kimberly don't utilize Pinterest much, I do from time to time pin things but rarely open it an look.  Must get better about that.  Right now computer is glitching so much I try not to get on the thing at all.  I just need a new one.  maybe for Christmas.

Again, great idea and I love it.

Let's see. First transplanting more seedlings, watering everything, checking for any infestations and then too regular school like fractions, decimals, adverbs, story writing, piano and hopefully guitar.  That should take care of all the energy I have and put me out of service til dinner needs to be prepared.

Thanks for the prayers and support. You may never truly know how much it means to me. But no worries, I am feeling fine, taking my meds, watching what I eat, actually trying to eat more. One meal a day suits me but not the docs.

Trying to hide a 12 foot trampoline in my back yard.  Oh   i have dressed the classroom windows like a Christmas gift in order to cover them and have made excuses as to why he can't go in the back yard.  So far so good. This is going to be such a wonderful thing for him. Get rid of some oif that energy.  Going tomorrow to see if I can find a reasonable guitar, if not the keyboard will have to do  for now

I hope everyone is having wonderful pre Christmas holidays.  Tomorrow I hope to post a new pic of Jaeden at his first grownup Christmas party (with his mom) he is such a little man.  He really made Leia proud that night.

Looking forward to Christmas pics from everyone.

Teresa. Good luck to you in your new ependeavirs and I hope you continue to fb your creations.  Good luck all so to your husband on his interviews

Hi everyone.  I have been lurking about a bit trying to catch up on my reading yet again.  Did some, will do more later.

RING, what ring, from whom.  what is the dirt here 'mi lady"?  I am happy for you girlfriend.

Etsy, shop, yes I saw that on FB and thought "oh" what is this?  I agree, age has nothing to do with taste and that was just simply tasteless.  Oh well what are you gonna do, just keep on keepin on as we are and we will survive this too.  I don't make sales. I am not here much and my marketing and promoting has taken a nose dive in the last few months for many reasons and for this I am sorry.  I truly enjoy sharing everyone and their beauties and I will begin again.

Our holidays are nearly upon us and I know that I have said I would show the ornaments when they were finished, soooooooo, maybe next year.  They are not going to happen this year.  Yep, I had to take a break from nearly everything recently.  I had another heart attack on Thanksgiving day.  It was very mild  and I did not go to the hospital.  I chose not to say anything even though Leia knew, but I did not want to ruin Thanksgiving for her and Jaeden.  The emergency room is no place for a 7 year old to be on Thanksgiving.  Plus, he would have been ordering the doctors around anyway.  However, the symptoms did persist and finally I could not fight Leia off any longer and went to emergency on the following Tuesday, stayed overnight and they did all sorts of tests and told me that I have no blockages.  Well 'duh" that would be because I have two stints. Yet they told me that I have to take the higher dosage of aspirin 325 mg instead of the 80mg because my blood needs to be a bit thinner so that the blood can flow through the plaque in my arteries.  (no blockages) hmmmmm.  But this brought on other issues.  Not with me.  I'm fine, just trucking along.  But Leia apparently became overwhelmed even though she thought she was handling everything well and she began to display symptoms similar to PTSD.  Anxiety, frightening images and thoughts, nightmares, severe headaches (she said like her brain was in a vice (sp) and then when the squeezing released she would not be able to hold herself up or walk.  There was not much pain during this but it would cause her to slur her speech and her head would pull to the right and she could not hold it up until it was over.  Scared the bejeebers out of me.  I took her to emergency and the PA said there was nothing they could do for her because she was not in any pain.  I of course showed my patuttie.  Because of where she works, she did not work for a week which just totally sucks for us for Christmas but it's okay the only thing we did not get was the drums (the one thing that he now talks about all the time).  But she is better now, the dizziness seems to have eased up trememdously.  I started giving her 25mg of my anti anxiety medication and that helped a lot.  After the first pill when I realized the difference I knew that it was because of going through my issues with me that she is like this.  She is so afraid of something happening to me that she can't think of much else sometimes.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to help alleviate her fears, I am all ears.  For now, we just rest as much as we can (with a hyper 7 year old in the house). We stopped doing any schoolwork until after the new year unless he asks what something is then we show him how to look it up, moving toward a more unschooling approach.  He works better that way most of the time.  Of course there is the requisite math and english that I squeeze in their during reading time and just talking.

Ok, that is about it I think.  Sorry this is so long but wanted everyone to know that I had not forgotten anyone here and have had you all on my mind, just had no desire to sit in front of the computer or my beads lately.  But I will be around, promise.

Love you all and I hope that your holidays are wonderful and exciting and full of love and peace.  May God bless you all.

Rain, Rain, go away.  Raining all day today.  Leak in roof still not fixed.  I called and let them know that if they continue to put it off, they will be responsible for the ceiling repair in that room since they were made aware of it when they came out the first time.

still working on my star ornament, it looks good but I think there must be an easier way to do this thing.  Put it down for a different project for awhile to let my brain register any new inspirations regarding getting it done.  I saw a really cute beaded ornament wrap that I want to do as one of the gifts so I may start that one. It should not take long and then there is my old standby, the netted ornament wrap.  Just need to get them done.  My eyes are killing me.

On the homeschooling front.  Well yeah, not any better, may put him back in public school.  I just don't know what else to do with him.  I have been research essential oils and there are lot of pros and cons to that.  I don't want the expense only to find out that it is harmful for him or that it really does not work.  Anyone have any experience with using essential oil blends for physical, emotional and mental issues?  I would love to hear what you all think.

Back to the grindstone, or to the recliner for a nap. Not sure which.    Oh yes I am sure.  You know which it will be.

Great looks for the boys rooms.  YEAH  "Living the Orange Life"  (Home Depot) rocks.  It was always one of my favorite stores and now my daughter works there, yippee.  There is orange all over my house, just not on the walls.   LOL.

I really like the grid wall.  Not sure I would tackle something like that but it looks great.  I love this house.  It is misleading from the front, but wow what a lot of space and that view is to die for and the area around you is great.  I would love to have that.  Sit out and watch the deer in the early am as they move from one feeding area to another.  I would love to know how much wildlife you actually see around there.

Hope all is going well with the  project room and the weight room.  Love seeing the photos.  Thanks
