I just made a purchase (a gorgeous hand-bound journal from Blue Highways), and when the transaction was concluded, got a screen that said in big letters:
"Purchase completed Sussessfully!"
... just letting you know you might want to change a couple of those "s"s.

So now I'm trying to buy something from YOUR shop, and I can't make it happen... I keep clicking on "commit to buy" and it keeps sending me back to the cart. Huh?
ETA: Nevermind. Figured it out. That was my secret identity who just bought some shampoo from you.

It takes a lot of effort sometimes to deal with people on the internet who feel free to sling whatever at whomever from behind the safety of their keyboard. People like to hide behind such ideas that 'it's just the internet, it's not real life.' Well, I'm sorry but we've reached a point that for many people, especially those trying to conduct a business, where it is real life and there always is a real person attached to that avatar. Just like on the sidewalk, we get back what we are willing to give.

I've only been here a few days, but I'm happy with HA. Getting lots of views, unlike E...ahem Elsewhere. ;0)
And the support is phenomenal, and the upgrades coming sound mahvelous. I have hope here, at least.

Yeah, "Elsewhere" looks like a tough place to break in, especially in jewelry, which I see is also your area. Love your stuff, btw -- I enjoy the antiqued-brass vintage style myself. Your charm bracelet with the Czech glass beads and the butterflies is gorgeous!
As for my kitties, they are both absurdly happy, and don't seem at all aware that they have health issues. As our veterinarian said, "We are more than the sum of our medical files." Interesting how a couple of animals can teach me a lot about taking one day at a time and relishing the moment.

Wow, I was shocked to read an Etsy post which alluded to unprofessionalism on the part of Handmade Artists. That seemed so out of character that I searched here and found this thread.
Kudos to Kimberly and Andrew for how you're running this site. My choice to open up here was in large part due to the professional but friendly tone you've set here. I've been following the saga of some other venues -- from the amount of disasters out there, it's apparent your job is not an easy one.

Hi folks. Just popping back in to say hello and say that I'm still new, still lurking about, and still getting ready to open a shop.
Likely won't open up till late summer, though, given vacation plans. By the time I get good pictures of my first few products, I'd have to be away right when I opened up... so I'm spending my time practicing new skills (I'm learning wire work) and getting to know HA.
...And speaking of cats, I'm crazy about my two. As I've been writing this, my sweet 14-year-old has been seeking attention. She's got three teeth and is blind in one eye, but she's still my baby! And now the other one wants attention, too -- she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago, but she's still going strong. ...Yeah, I could easily become a "cat lady."

Just thought I'd share one more small thing... I was just browsing through Jewelry, and had to chuckle at how many "bra"s I found there. Or rather, bracelets whose title had been cut off. I'm not quite sure what the solution is, and I don't think it's a dire problem... but it's a little funny to a tired person like me with a juvenile sense of humor.

Hi, I haven't read through the thread yet, but I had a suggestion:
When browsing categories as a buyer, on whatever site, I like to set my options to show as many items at one time as possible. Many sites give options along the lines of "show 10/25/all items" -- is that the kind of thing that could be incorporated here? Don't know the technical side of it, but that's my shopper's preference.
