Site Support / Re: shipping profile
« on: November 25, 2018, 09:10:04 AM »
I had the same problem when I tried to update my shipping profiles for an increase in postage since I last updated them.  It said it was saved, but instead of updating the prices, it deleted the shipping profile altogether.  I had to redo the ones I tried to update multiple times.

Thank you everyone!  This baby will definitely be spoiled.  My son is already talking about how he will encourage her imagination with certain types of toys.  He's going to be one of those dads who gets down on the floor and plays with the kids.

Thank you for the congratulations!  Mom and baby will be coming home today.  I'm sure mom will be happy to be out of the hospital and back in her own home.

Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I have posted on here but I have been reading.  I have some wonderful news!  I became a grandmother yesterday morning.  My oldest son and his wife had their first child, a daughter.  Her name is Sierra Caitlyn.  Mom and baby are doing great.

I left Etsy after they allowed cheap merchandise from resellers.  It is NOT a handmade site...more like another eBay.

I don't have a catalog either.  My catalog is my listings except for some jewelry that I can't seem to get decent pictures for.

Thank you MulchandMore!  I have gained some back and then lost again, so it's a net loss of 13.4 pounds so far.  I'm going to keep at it until lost at least most of the weight if not all.  It gets easier the longer you do it.

I could be like that with a book if I didn't have to get at 5 AM for work.  I have to force myself to put one down when I read at night because I know I will pay for it the next day.  Like Andrew, it's 10 PM at the latest for me, and if I go past that, I will pay for it.

Love the drawing Larissa.

I have lost 10.6 pounds so far on my juice fast.  I had some things I was not doing right, so that caused a slower loss, but I am on track now.  We will see how it goes.

Andrew, that is a really huge kitchen!  It looks great.  You could probably fit at least three or four of mine in there. :)

My bathrooms are almost done.  The full one is finished and the half bath is almost finished.  I did some painting over the weekend in the full bath and I hope to finish that this weekend.

Every single day this week has felt like Friday, which ends up really disappointing.  Sigh.

Nothing big today.  In the office 'til 6, and then more candles tonight.  I'm sure E is working on more cutting boards.  He's got one almost ready to sand down and wax, and another he needs to find his orbital sander for.

I've been a candlemaking fiend.  I have to say, while I loved making paraffin candles too, there's something to be said for not having to play with wax mixes and colors and scents and second pours and things and just being able to knock out unadulterated beeswax candles, which are healthier to burn anyway.  Love 'em!  Now we just need more molds so we can have a bigger variety than three designs.  :)

Are you getting your beeswax from your bees?

Some of it.  We only extracted honey from a couple hives last summer, and the only wax we take from them is the cappings over the honey, so we didn't get a ton.  We bought a bunch from a fellow beekeeper, though, so we have that to use too.

Happy birthday to your daughter!

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my daughter!

It's good you have a local supply of beeswax.  Maybe eventually your bees will produce enough for you to tus.

I'm still doing the juice fast and so far have lost six pounds in six days.  I hope the trend keeps going.  I have gotten into a routine with it now and will continue until next Saturday.

Today is my daughter's birthday.  It's hard to believe she is 32 now.  It seems like just yesterday that she and my sons were all kids.

Ah, there's the difference.  I never forget to eat, and if I don't eat regularly, I get dizzy and nauseous, and eventually black out.  Literally.  :)  The two times in my life I've tried to fast for Yom Kippur, I took a dive to the floor right in the middle of services in synagogue.

Anyway, normal day today.  Rainy.  I'm hoping the rain today & the sun we're supposed to have over the next two days get the grass seed in the backyard and the birdsfoot trefoil and red clover seed we put down in the front yard sprouting.

Didn't end up making more candles last night; Eric and I were both really tired.  But we did burn some of them to get burn times.  The tiny one burns a little over 2.5 hours, the honeycomb one over 4 hours, and we didn't get to finish burning the skep hive because it was taking so long, so I'll relight it tonight and we'll make more while we're relaxing.  I already have someone in my area who wants to buy two.

So far I'm doing ok with the juice fast.  There is a basic plan/guideline I am following to make sure I get balanced nutrients while I am doing it.  I lost four pounds in three days so far.

The contractors are continuing work today.  The electrician is here and the plumber will come tomorrow.  Out with told and in with the new. :)
