Business Tips and Help / New Here - How to divide items between shops

Hello!


I'm new here and very excited to be a part of this site. I'm already much more comfortable here than I ever was on Etsy.


That said, I'm not really able to just abandon my Etsy site all at once. I need to move over here as part of a process. But I'm not sure how to list items.


For those of you with more than one store, how do you divide your items? I don't want to list the same items both places because with my luck someone would buy the same thing both places at the same time. LOL


For example, with my Easter items, should I just put half here and half over there?


What do you all do?

I only found out about this site today and I have an Etsy store so this thread is very helpful. I will be keeping my Etsy store open but plan on opening one here as well and see how it does. I already like the community here much better. Etsy is very informal and I've been there for a couple of years and still feel like I've made very limited connections.


I'm very much looking forward to getting to know others here and becoming a real member of this community.

Hello everyone!


I'm new and I actually just heard about this site today. It looks great! I want to browse around a bit, get to know it a little and then hopefully open my store here in addition to Etsy. I'm super excited about this place and I love the feel of it already!
