Very pretty!

I agree that they are under priced.

That said, whenever I've priced my items the way I need to I don't sell them. When I lower the prices I sell them relatively steadily but by no way am I making much off of them. It is frustrating.

It's hard to find that balance between selling enough at a lower price versus selling nothing at all at a higher price.

These are all great! I love how unique they look. I think the first and then the dragons are my favorite. Very nice!!!

I've been thinking about it and I'm going to keep the shop open. I'm still hoping to get rid of most of my stuff on clearance. And then only stock a few things here and there. Like I want to make another pegasus and get really detailed with her but I have no one specific to make her for so will put her in my store. Things like that. I don't think I can completely stay away but I definitely need to take the focus off trying to keep a store going if that makes sense.

My hubby would say I'm too addicted. LOL

Those are super cute! I know my daughter would love packing random things in those and carting them around! LOL

Thank you both!

Larissa - I love the jellyfish! I had a custom request last year and I actually liked how it came out better. It wasn't quite as big, though, and I used a different yarn and hook size.  I will go back to that again in the future. Anyway, here's a picture of how it turned out:

I've made some squid but just like the way the jellyfish look better lol

You do beautiful work!

I can't speak on the price as I really don't know much about this type of jewelry. But it seems fair to me.

I can say that I don't find the first picture very flattering for your jewelry. I would almost go with the second picture as the one you see first because it shows the bracelet actually on the wrist. Even then, the bracelet is in a small fraction of the photograph and I find that the hand actually takes away from it.

I also found that I wanted to see a close up of the bracelets just so I could see the intricate patterns that you've created. They are beautiful but the photos from afar doesn't give a potential customer a real good look at it. At least that's my opinion (but I'm also very detailed oriented and I like to see what something looks like up close).

My recommendation would be to have one photo from afar like you do and then zoom in and show the bracelet on the wrist, not necessarily on the entire hand/arm if that makes sense. I think that would really make your work pop.

I thought I would share some of the random, recent projects I've done :) :)

This jellyfish was for my son upon his request. He chose the yarn, wanted the eyes just like that and the mouth, too. I made a big one - it stands about 14" from the top to the ends of the tentacles. It was fun to do!

Then I got a pattern for a pegasus and used a couple of colors that I don't get to use often and here was the result. My daughter has adopted "Sunset"

Then this was one of the last custom items I'll be doing. I finished them last night and sent them off to their new owner!

I want to make some beaded clips for my daughter's hair so I'm going to play around with that tonight. I left the hot glue gun in her room (she's asleep now) so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to put it all together. LOL

Thanks for looking!

You guys are so kind, thank you!

I'll definitely stick around. I love seeing everyone else's work and being able to share projects. That's always so much fun! Plus it keeps me inspired which is good. And who knows, I may be back at some point. I do want to get into knotted jewelry and at least that I can have a nice stock pile of without taking up a whole closet LOL

I started a new store here and I've been working like crazy on promoting and the fact of the matter is, I just don't have the time for all of this at this point in my life. So I'm closing my store so I can crochet for fun for my family and friends and focus on my kiddos.

I've reduced the items in my store to clear out a bunch of in-stock items. I'm going to only stock specialty items at this point.

Anyway don't miss out on these low prices for some crochet goodies! There are more deals on my Etsy store, too, including jewelry.

Thank you all!

Shop Critiques / Re: Could I get a shop critique please?

Hi John,

I appreciate your comments. I hadn't realized I still needed to work on my profile. I'm new to this site still so I will be sure to do that. My store on Etsy is all set up and established so I need work on this one.

Oh wow, I knew that prices had gone up for shipping to other countries but that is insane! I usually can use a poly mailer so that cuts costs down a lot but that really is crazy! Thank you for the heads up.

I know I'm not making much at all with my items. But even on Etsy where I'm established I can't seem to sell most of it at the prices I have much less if they were higher. I think that crochet is really hard for that as I've heard that from a lot of people. I think that's why I've been drawn to jewelry. Crochet is an area I just feel stuck in if I try to sell anything.

Again, I appreciate your time and comments!

I would be using it for wrap bracelets and possibly necklaces as well. I did end up ordering some satin cord as well as some leather so I could try different things and see what I like. I enjoy the crocheting with beads but I think maybe knot tying might be easier and more versatile for jewelry.
