Rooster Pride

This is one of my top sellers at local art shows.  You can tell that this rooster really does not care about his size at all.

The 6"x6" stretched canvas mixed media collage is very dimensional.  The rooster's tail is comprised of  three layers.  The base is watercolor paper and the next two top layers are rice paper.  This very colorful rooster has been enhanced with twinks and gel pens.  I have framed it with tatting around the edge of the canvas.

This would look great in anyone's kitchen!  Or, just add it to your collection.

It is ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger on the back, or you can use a table top stand.

I have signed and dated this piece on the back.  Everything I create is handmade therefore no two are ever alike.

WOW...gotta say I've slowly veered away from my original kitchen design ideas of natural woods, white & green colors and ivy leaves, to start including lovely roosters of many kinds...this would definitely be something to include as an 'entrance-way' display to my soon-to-be fowl-themed place, to gather for coffee, tea, and other wonderful homemade delights! Awesome design!!
