Chat??

I notice under the main menu on the left there is an option to chat. It brought me to "Handmadeartists Hangout" but everything was blank. How exactly does that chat work? (or was it just that no one is in there)

There is a regularly scheduled chat on Thursday evenings about 8;30.  When I go on that night, I always get there to find it empty or so I thought at first.  Actually, I just have to sign out and sign back in again and it works fine. 

Other than the Thursday evening chat, I don't there are regular ones, you could always post a night that is good for you to do this and ask others if they would like to join you.  You never know it could turn out to be better than Thursday night.

good to know! can you tell me what time zone that is? I'm from NY but I'm living in Spain, so I'm used to the 6 hour difference now haha but it would be good to know 8:30 where thanks!

speaking of time zones, is NJ on daylight savings time? In the left column the time is still showing as standard time? thanks

On the left hand side of any of the forum screens, under menu, the next header is User;
it says ;  Hello MulchandMore

Just saw this thread and checked mine, it is correct with the actual time on my computer and the clock on the wall.

My time was off as well.
Just go to your profile under look and layout http://handmadeartists.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;area=theme;u=1 and you'll see time offset. Click auto detect and it should correct it for you. It did for me.
