I'm Lisa and I design jewellery and bridal tiaras. I'm generally a creative type and have always been expressing my creativity in one way or another.
I used to dance when I was younger and I was into acting, singing, writing plays and directing too.
I started making jewellery about 5 years ago and when I was struggling through an emotional breakdown due to PTSD, which started about 4 years ago, I found that twisting bits of wire and playing with loads of sparkly beads helped to take my mind off things.
I started experimenting with tiara and discovered that I really enjoyed making them. So eventually things snowballed and I set up my own website and worked on it day and night.
It got to the point that I was eating, sleeping, breathing, dreaming jewellery and after 30 years of being on this earth and doing stressful jobs working for banks in their complaints departments, I discovered that I finally knew what I wanted to do with my life.
And so here I am. I've opened up on Etsy and have expanded into another collection which features everyday jewellery.
With being so ill, things were a bit sporadic, but now that I'm back to full health again and withdrawing from my antidepressants, I'm starting to really work on my business.
I've moved to sunny Turkey now, so all is good!
Anyway, I have verbal diahrea (sic.) sometimes, so I'll shut up now and leave you all in peace.
