Hello.  My name is Candy and the jewelry I sell is branded as EyeCandy Chainmaille.  I was being cleaver.   ^-^  So anyways, I have been making jewelry for about 2 years now.  I have sold some and I am now listed on Ebay.  I hope to get some peices done to put up on Etsy soon.  I guess with the economy this was not the best year to start to do this.  My work also goes to a few small shows with another local artist.  She has been a large help to me and lots more folks are seeing my work.

I started doing beading and chainmaille to calm my nerves.  I was retired 3 years ago because of medicine resistant bi-polar disorder and extreme anxiety.  There are lots of times I can't even get out my front door.

I hope to grow this little endeavor enough to help my mom who is ready to retire and to get my own independence back.  A house with a workshop and a car that is reliable.  That would be heaven!

I am on Twitter.  my name on there is LadyJhia.  I am also on Myspace and MyYearbook.  The listing for myspace is:

http://www.myspace.com/eyecandychainmaille

and the listing for myyearbook is:

http://www.myyearbook.com/ladyjhia

You can see pictures of my work on both of those pages.

Well, thank you for reading this.  All Blessings.

Candy

I should have introduced myself before :) But I guess it's never too late :) I am Helen and I have a shop on etsy:

I have been painting and creating things since I remember myself. I come from a very creative family: My grandfather wanted to be an artist, but World War II interrupted his dreams. My grandmother was an incredibly talented woman who created very beautiful, intricate embroidery and crochet-work. My mother is an architect. Following in my family’s steps, I am also an artist.

Hi everyone!

My name is Pauline Salvucci and I'm a jewelry designer from Maine. A very wet Maine I have to say! Poor folks who are here for vacation.

I found this forum while searching for jewelry groups. I'm glad to be here and hope to share with you all!

I'm passionate about jewelry design, and own Sirona Jewelry, an online store. I'm also a writer, nature and animal lover, a Red Sox baseball fan, a handicapped woman and retired psychotherapist. I love jazz piano, art, great conversation, reading and films. I also enjoy blogging, Sirona Jewelry & Mid-Life Memoir - http://sironajewelry.blogspot.com/

Thanks:)

Hi everyone. some of you know me already. I'm getting around a bit. My name is Michele Stewart, I run MikiCat Designs, love designing jewelry but am still new at it. Less than a year. I'm in love with chainmaille but also enjoy wire wrapping and beading. It's all wonderful. I'm looking to increase my knowledge of fabrication and metalsmithing.

I'm also trying to setup a new web store and am finding it's not easy. I look forward to learning, sharing, inspiring, being inspired, challenging and being challenged by everyone. Handmade is the only way to go. 8)

Just wanted to say hi and am happy to have been pointed in this direction. It looks like a fabulous website and am looking forward to reading through everything. I love to design and create jewelry. What started as a one off piece of jewelry has turned into an obsession! You can find me at http:// LuSandaJewelry.artfire.com. I look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome to those that just joined!  I am going to spend some fun time going through all your links later, but in the mean time; if you have an Etsy shop we would love to have you join us on the Etsy HAFteam and if you have an ArtFire Shop we are in the process of setting up an ArtFire Guild!  So much to do and so little time....enjoy the forum and jump on in!  We don't bite...often.
