Hi Ya All, I am the Linda Jewelry Queen, I have been doing this kind of work for more before most of you have been born! I have been working on jewelry for more than 38 years, I am no spring chicken :-\ but I love what I do. I started creating my works when I was ten years old when my mother needed a nice fancy sweater to wear to dads christmas party, I got some fancy beads and bugles and sewn them onto her sweater. Then it became history after that. I come from in the New York region, born into an Italian Family, we were a big family, there were 8 of us and now as time goes down, we are a family of 2.  ( lost contact with most siblings, due to marriages, changes in lifes careers, and death, but we visit offen)

I love to cook besides beading and jewelry making. I chose my name because not only Do I love to make jewelry I am also an author. I written many childrens books and Also working on a story about Pearls. Not a jewelry book but a murder mystery that includes to have how they made the pearls disappear but reappear  into a form of a  necklace, well in due time you will see it out on the shelves. It takes time for the publishing of these books. Well, I took classes the last 9 years with Sheryl Serafini, she was a great artist, so I do works similar to hers. She told all of us who she taught us classes that we can USE her patterns, but I said I thought that these were all copyrighted but she said, yes they are, but you can use them for your own benefit but do not sell the patterns thats all. I love her work. I had very similar things happen to me, when  I started making bead embroidery. My mom was very ill too, I had become the caregiver of her and my dad, soon mom passed 7 yrs ago, then recently 7 months ago dad passed and I had before that become his caregiver and started to work on my work of art. Since the falling out of less buyers of my bead embroidery, I have tons of stuff I love to unload and sell, but if it was not for my dear friend and mentor and teacher Bobbi, I would not have found you all.
I am Blest, I have been blest to learn, teach and trade my ideas to help others form a group or teach them that they can do anything if they really wanted to. I hope that we can all teach each other things about how to make a Meatball out of beads that we do not have to dip into red tomato sauce and eat with italian bread.
I hope to share my love for bead and where to purchase things at. We should be here to help one another and lets start creating our wares. Thanks for inviting me to join, I hope to share this with my other fellow beaders.
