Hi there;

I really want to participate in some of the promotions and contest but i seem to have a hard time keeping up.  The computer work seems as if it takes more time than creating my dolls.  Can I just get in on the tweeting process?  I dont expect to be tweeted but I would like to be a part somehow.  I need to hire my grandson to do some computer work.  I am working out a schedule  i am thinking about one day a week to be on the computer all day.  Anyone got any suggestions?  With the holiday craft shows coming up my head is spinning.

Hello Whatever...if you figure out the time quandry, let the rest of us know.  I have been making lists and have yet to scratch off anything. 
Seriously, the best advise I can give you is do what you enjoy.  Computer time and social links are important for our on-line businesses, but don't try to over extend yourself.  Find what is you like (or at least is not a big chore) and focus on that first.  I like to write (and talk) so I do most of my promoting thru my blog.  And for facebook and twitter, it's hit and miss.  So I use Hootsuite to scheduale my tweets for a week at a time (at least that's my plan).  If you find you like tweeting, go mobile so you can do it as much as you like.  Just remember to relax and to have fun...stress kills your creative juices.

Yep, absolutely, everything Debbi said.  It is about having fun and helping yourself and others at the same time.  It is a jog, to be sure and one that has to be prioritized.  Most of my tweeting, facebook and blogging is done at night somewhere between 10 pm and 3 a.m.  During the day, I work on my jewelry or I am working on a crochet project. 

You just have to figure out where everything fits.  I can tell you that the more you promote, the more you will get out of it.  It does help.  I have not had sales yet, but I am getting comments and emails about things all the time, so I know that people are seeing my things but they are also seeing sometimes more of other artists work than my own.  So I know I have to get more done and photographed and on the site and shop. 

Good luck and tweet as you can, I am not a master here just helping out with promotion.

Ok, just saw this post and I will get you added to the list. just needs to be this afternoon after my class is done.  Sorry.  Yes online shops and other things do get in the way, even if you can do this once a day for each person on the list at some point that would be great. Some just don't realize the impact this had for us all especially the shop as a whole.  We don't start til the end of the month ok.

I have modified the instructions for the twitter ring that will begin tomorrow. The previous information no longer appears in the thread.

Also, not noted there,   

There will bee a separate thread for each weeks Featured Artists clearly marked with the date for the beginning of the week starting with new Featured Artists.  This will be within the main Twitter Ring thread.

Also, please if you have any questions, please PM me.  I am happy to help in whatever way that I can.  This is the peak season and I would like to see sales increase for all of us through this promotion.  Wouldn't we all.

Ok the list has 14 participants on it so far.  Come on folks, let's get some more sign ups here.  We all need to get our names out there and promotion is the best way to get it spread around.  I don't know how many twitter followers each of you have but I have over 400 so if everyone has at least that many (and I am sure my number is low) then multiply that by God knows how many followers each of your followers have that will see these tweets. 

These promotion rings are some of the best ways to get yourself noticed.

Let's all give it the good ole college try.
