I am hoping that just because it has resolved on this post that this won't get looked over!
I was looking for more info on the AF Assurance stuff and came across a thread with a link to this
http://www.ecommercebytes.com/cab/abn/y12/m09/i11/s02
with this short paragraph in it.
"Preparing for Google Shopping's transition to a pay-only model, Artfire has been adapting new organic search and image search optimization. "We've nearly tripled our search traffic from image searches, and recovered search traffic that we saw decrease with the (Google) Panda and Penguin organic algorithm changes," said Ford."

What??
and how does this if at all impact HAS?

This stuff is just getting way too much!! Seriously I didn't go into this with the idea of having to learn so much technical stuff!  Really I just wan to make stuff and post it! and do some promoting - I've spent more time today trying to figure out this stupid AF assurance thing, I haven't gotten anything else done!  and of course reading one thread leads to others to figure out other things going on!

I'm right there with you Kris! Confusing is putting it mildly. I don't ask for much. Make stuff, post it and maybe sell something once in awhile. :-\

Kris that basically means, I believe - if someone found your shop, AF will also lead them away from your shop to other shops to look at similar items. Plain english....
Etsy is doing it... and folks were in uproar about it over there....

sneaky  Monika!

I spent some time last night redoing tags on most of my hats and a few of the scarves - tonight while on google shopping, I had not pulled up any of my regular caps with different search terms by page 8, but 2 of my lacy ones showed up on page 1 - this was geared towards Colorado Springs - so now I'm going to change of few of the regular hats and see if I can get some of them closer to the 1st page.  They also didn't show up in the 1st 6 - 8 pages of google either.
Going to try posting more of them different places see if that helps any.

Yep! Sweet and simple!
Oh were that possible! but I guess not!

I hardly ever use google shopping - but then I don't really use the net for shopping and if I want something unique, I know exactly where to go!  But, I imagine many other people do use google shopping.
