I'd really love to learn to do both, too.  Right after I learn to fabricate my own metal for jewelry and re-learn sewing.  Sheesh! LOL  Not enough hours in a day or days in my whole life to do everything I'd like to.
I know the feeling!

It would probably take me a lot longer to do - I'm so slow at knitting! I enjoy knitting, I'm just very slow at it.

That is gorgeous!  Is that for you, or are you selling it? I love the color and the pattern. and I want to know what yarn did you use???

Thanks!  It's for me, I used a pattern from Ravelry.  The yarn is Mist Alpaca Handpainted lace.

Thanks everyone!  :)

I now have so many shawls that I need to buy something to safely store them in.  My dresser drawer isn't quite cutting it anymore :D

STunning! REALLY stunning! I've been fiddling with some washcloths and spa hairbands. I like the little projects. I will try to sell them at my store.

That is beautiful.  I cannot get over how delicate and intricate it is.

I love knitted shawls. I like the yarn color you chose as well. Hopefully one day I'll be able to create something so beautiful. Just made my first bean bag from the book "Kids Knitting" and I feel proud of myself.  :P

Once, I started a blanket for mom and it took me nearly 3 years to finish it. Not because it was a large project but because I kept putting it off. Not sure if others do this but I'm constantly finding something else to work on - so I have multiple pieces going at the same time. :-*

hehe it depends on the project.  Last month I was getting lots of baby knits done for a few girlfriends and once they reached a certain point they all got put by the wayside so I could start something else.  They all just got finished last week.  Minus buttons of course
