Free shipping?

Hi all!

I'm having a free shipping sale for the 4th, tonight through Saturday or Sunday, and I see that there's no way to set up a coupon code for free shipping. So what I'm wondering is, is there a way to apply a shipping profile to all my products at once? Because that would work just as well in my case!

At this current moment, I believe, though some may correct me on this if I have this wrong, that you will have to go into each product and apply a new shipping profile to it.   As a side note though, perhaps if you use the same price for all the products you use, you could set up a coupon for that exact price, thus allowing the free shipping. 

Again, I may be wrong, but I think you'll have to modify each product to a new shipping profile.

As I have shared before, I am currently working on changes to make things easier in the future, and this particular situation allows me to have an idea of how I can help to improve things, so cheers.

just edit your shipping profile to say 0.00 for shipping and it will change for all items.  then when your shipping sale is over edit the profile again.

Yeah, when I just did a sale for "free shipping for orders over $25," I had to go in and edit each.  freakin'.  item.  In both stores.  Took forever.

Speaking of which, Josey-baby, at some point can we get, in addition to flat rate shipping (on my stand-alone, we do flat $5 shipping, no matter how large the order, and I want to do the same here) an ability to do "free shipping on orders over $x"?  I'd love you forever.

Is the shipping amount the same on all of your items?  If so you can create a couple code called FREE SHIPPING.

Oh, if only. No, I have two different shipping profiles because some of my memory wire bracelets and necklaces get kinda big and heavy, so I have different shipping for them as opposed to, say, just a pair of earrings.
