And I agree.  I kind of chuckle now that my first was just a garter stitch.  It's nice & all, but there's so much fun to be had.  And if I'm going to do garter stitch from now on, I need to do more than one color, like that racing stripe washcloth.

Some interest (and I knitted a second one of these - started it there, finished it yesterday), but no takers.  I only had 7 & had them rolled in a basket and no one really noticed 'til I mentioned it, so I think next time I definitely need more & definitely need to lay them out or hang them somehow.  Hanging from the canopy would be good, now that I think of it.  REALLY get attention.

Yeah, maybe hang some from the canopy and some in the basket.  Paint some springy clothes pins in some semi matching or alternate colors to hang them with?
