I've seen these around and bought a couple of colors to play with.  They are referred to as survival bracelets because if you are ever lost in the wilderness you can cut one loop and end up with 10ft of 550test paracord that will save your life...or something like that!  I don't know anyone that is going to be in a survival situation anytime soon, so I just made a couple for the boys to wear.

I've got some more cord in a few colors and will probably order more because Spencer wants to make some to sell at one of the craft fairs.  I've been searching out some new patterns and had no idea how many of them there are!

You guys are so funny!  The length if you cut it and stretch it out is about 10 feet so you better hope the hole is no deeper than that!  :o   The 550 refers to the strength of the cord.  It is actually the same cord that hold parachutes to the flyer and is tested to hold up to 550 pounds.
