Frustrated with Bio setup
« on: March 31, 2012, 02:21:16 PM »
OK - So after going through and filling out my bio/profile, the photo I wanted to use was improperly sized.  Instead of saving everything else and notifying me of the image sizing error, I lost ALL my text as well.  I'm out of time to go through and redo it all today - so now it'll have to wait.

Can it be fixed so that an image error doesn't result in losing all the other data on the page?  Or a warning to save the image before working on the text... something!

I've run into this on other sites before and it is frustrating. Now I do the picture part first and make sure it loads okay, then go back and edit to add the text. Saves a lot of headache, at least for me.

I do the same thing....photo first...then I will do the rest...mainly because I can't sit in front of the computer long enough to do it all at once. I get too antsy!!!!

Either that, or when I've typed out something really long that I'm afraid of losing, I copy it first, and then I can just hit "paste" if the worst happens.
