Chocolate

(1/6) > >>

Larissa:
So I spent most of today making chocolate for a Secret Valentine from my face painting group.  I'm sending him a couple bars & a tub of brush-cleaning Purity too.

But I have to show off the chocolate, since I can't post it on FB yet...

Dark & milk chocolate with hazelnut filling:

Dark chocolate with sea salt:

Milk & white chocolate with raisins & pink sprinkles:

Milk chocolate with chopped pecans & almonds:

Milk chocolate filled with chunky peanut butter & dark chocolate filled with creamy peanut butter:

Red & white chocolate with red sugar sparkle sprinkles:

And all of 'em wrapped:

CrochetHooked:
Larissa!  OM Gosh... that is Awesome!  What a cool and thoughtful Valentines gift you made... I'll take all of the above!  ;D  WTG

LisaE:
He's so lucky that your are his valentine!

ldkeesee:
Mmmm I love chocolate  :P

Never heard of chocolate with sea salt. Can you taste the salt in it?

Larissa:
Thanks, guys!

LD, you can, just a bit.  Salt and sweet together is great... it's a similar theory behind chocolate-covered bacon, pretzels, or potato chips.
