"Trashy" Necklace!
« on: January 31, 2012, 05:35:57 PM »
This necklace is made entirely from stuff that was headed for the dump... The focal piece is the bottom of a reject pottery piece that I smashed and coarse tumbled, The wire is from the same potters house, (she is having the kitchen remodeled), and the wire is salvaged from the main power wire... (from the house built in 1952). The pattern of the chain is a four thousand year old design....

Matt,
As usual, it is a very nice piece.  Attractive  necklace and saving the earth, a nice combination :)

Fabulous!  Love the link/chain design, really interesting and fun.

Also nice to know I'm not the only person who puts stuff other than rocks in my rock tumbler.

The chain link design came to me from a book...

But I had to modify the deminsions to work with my wire...
