Patience my latest polymer clay sculpture
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:11:41 PM »
Here's my latest polymer clay sculpture I've titled "Patience". It was designed and hand-sculpted by me:) It's about a size 5/6 and took me days to finish. I haven't been able to wear heels in a long while but it doesn't mean I have to give them up completely!

OMG, fab!  I know some drag queens who'd want you to design shoes for them.

It's great, I, personally, have a weakness for red heels.

Shoes!  I am such a sucker for shoes, even ones made out of clay!  You really are amazing.

Here's the story of how I decided to make the shoe. I was selling my wares at a street fair and Aara, the owner of Get Funky Boutique (where I sell my stuff) asked me if I could display one of her funky shoes on my table and direct people where to find her. It was a great thing for me because that shoe brought so many women over to my table. I decided right there and then that I was going to make a display shoe to draw people over to me. It really works! True story:)

You guys aren't kidding.  It's a sickness.  There was one year my parents had given me 15 or 20 pairs of shoes & boots for Chanukah & I am not kidding or exaggerating when I say that just a few days later I was in the mall with a boyfriend helping him Christmas shop & saw a "sale" sign in a shoe store window and was compelled to go check it out.

A sickness, I tell you.
