Custom order bracelet

This is a custom order bracelet I made for Gina (Dahlish). It's for her daughter, so it's small. It was so fun to make. I love the candy apple red of the heart beads. Hope you like it too.

  Thanks! I like that it's not really juvenile looking,(ie: plastic beads and stretchy cord) but not too grown up either.

Exactly!  Plus I can just see with an elastic the beads exploding everywhere

I've tried the stretch cord but have not had much luck with it. I've tried all thicknesses, knots and glue, and crimp covers, you name it. They just never seem real secure to me.

I keep trying to slow the boys down too.  I doesn't work.  Won't be long before they are patting my on the head as they walk by.

Sorry, but kids have a habit of growing up. I really think I must be the oddest parent around because I didn't get upset with mine growing up, going away to school and all that. We always thought of it as having done a good job where they became considerate, self sufficient adults.

I do understand this and love the fact that my boys are more independent by the day, but it is still a shock to me when one of them comes around the corner, and for a second I think "Who is that?" 
right now, though, it is easy to spot Spencer because his hair is now dyed a bright aqua color.  Kid always has walked to his own beat which keeps things interesting.

Back to the bracelet, I do like that it looks young without looking cheap.  It's obviously a nice piece of jewelry.
