Metal Stamping N00b

(1/1)

CraftedRoots:
Hey guys!! Yeah, I know, it's been a while! :P After the baby arrived, life hasn't slowed down. I miss this place, though!!

So for Christmas I received supplies for metal stamping (little metal tags, a hammer, an anvil) and some jump rings and wire pliers and what-not. I would love any advice on how to use this stuff!! I've always wanted to try metal stamping, so I'm excited to test out my stuff. :D I just don't know where to start!

Also, any super exciting and amazing news I missed in the past seven months? :D

Larissa:
Oooh, good gift!  I have no idea how to use it, but I wanna see what you make!

Here's a good free video class on metal stamping.

It's better to use a brass hammer to reduce chances of shattering the steel stamps. Hope to see what you make soon   :)

Hey crafted great to see you around again, we missed you. Kimberly and I were going to buy some metal stamping stuff at one time so that we could make little charms with our business name that you could hang from the clasp area. We never did though
