Some Steampunk, some chainmaille
« on: December 20, 2011, 05:36:02 PM »
Just wanted to show what I've been up to :).  Between making Christmas gifts for some of my cousins and playing with some clock parts my dad gave me I have, just a few new pieces.

Copper Celtic Star and shell pendant. This is a Christmas gift for one of my cousins.

Copper Celtic Spike Star and shell pendant.  Also a Christmas gift for one of my cousins.

Enameled copper Alternating half-Romanov earrings made as a Christmas gift for one of my cousins.

Copper Japanese 12-2 and freshwater pearl earrings.  These were also made as a Christmas gift for one of my cousins.

Steampunk and chainmaille cuff bracelet. Bracelet is made from clock parts, guinea hen feathers, a glass river rock, and copper. The weave is Stepping Stones and is made using round, square, and half-round wire.

Steampunk pendant made from clock parts and a frosted glass cabochon I scavenged from an old piece of jewelry.  I scraped off some of the foil backing from the cabochon and painted the back so as to give it some colour and pattern.

Steampunk pendant made from clock parts and old rhinestones.

Steampunk earrings made from clock springs.  The brass "beads" are also clock parts.

;D I think WE ALL want to be your cousin!

All fab, but my favorite is the Tesla earrings! I'm a fan of the show "Sanctuary" and one of the characters is Nicolah (sp?) Tesla. I know "GEEK"!  :-[

Narrina, I love those sprung springs. Most of your pix didn't load (I've got VERY slow internet), but that one did, and it's great!
