Getting ready for the holidays
« on: October 25, 2011, 08:20:59 PM »
I'm so excited, this will be my first holiday season in business.  And the ideas are flowing like water. New products are being posted everywhere and I can hardly keep up.  Is there anyone else who can't wait to see what the season will bring.   Marilynn Williams@http://diamondsandpearlsgreetings.webs.com

I enjoy the holidays as much as anyone else. BUT, owning a retail store, I have to get out the decorations and product much sooner than I would like. By the time CHristmas is actually here, I tired of it. It shouldn't be that way. :(

I can understand that.  I use put up a christmas village every year. I would start in October and finish in Dec.
I don't know which was worst putting it up or taking it down.
But this year I'm in business for myself and the excitement is boiling over. Visit me on my site and leave a message, http://diamondsandpearlsgreetings.webs.com. Leave any helpful tips and links that lead to your site.

I get angry at stores that put up Christmas prior to Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving.  It makes me not want to shop there.  Just sayin'.

2 stores I went to today had Halloween down and Christmas up - Christmas was already partly up in one of them weeks ago!!!!  I wish they won't put up sooo much sooo soon! and especially wish they would wait for a very long time before playing Christmas music!  P.S. I love Christmas - but this just gets to be 2 much!

Cracks me up to see the shops with two isles of Halloween and the rest is Christmas!  I love the holidays but have to say that I am not loving the skipping of Thanksgiving to push onto Christmas
