I have eaten zuccini bread and brownies with zuccini in them, as long as you don't tell me it's in it till after I am done eating

Chocolate Zucchini Cake
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c cocoa
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. margarine or butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 c. shredded zucchini
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
Cream together margarine and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs-mix well. Add alternately wet and dry ingredients to creamed mixture mixing well. Fold in remaining ingredients until well mixed. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool and enjoy!

It freezes well too!

I am so jealous!!!!!  I've tried a few things in pots the past few years, but haven't had much luck - except with tomatoes! and I don't even eat the things!  - a few, but mostly grow them for a friend of mine.
My plant didn't do so well this year tho. -
and then after I got to Colorado Springs late July I planted a few plants that but they really didn't grow very much - so I finally gave up on them!  But what beautiful gardens you guys have!
Last time I had a garden was in 98 - and just as it was really getting good - my landlords cows attacked it - and there was nothing left! oh well!
I used to have the best recipe for zucchini bread.  It was one way to get some vegies into my kids! lo

Don't feel bad Kris! Not only do i fail at trying to grow anything , somehow I have even managed to kill healthy plants. Which is kinda hard for even me to believe being a science major.

lo Tiffany - maybe as a science major you over analyze it? But don't give up - sometimes it eventually happens - it took more than a few dead plants before I started figuring it out better.  and I still kill some off!
All my other plants - flowers - did great this year - just the tomato plant & the ones planted late in co. didn't do so well.
