Vintage Gypsy, that squash looks gorgeous!
And I'm back in this thread because I finally have decent plants to show & we know what's succeeding & what's not.
First, the hops. Eric's growing hops for his beer brewing, and several of them (there are 5 varieties, two of each) are doing really well. First year hops aren't expected to grow big, and some of these are first year.

These insanely tall ones are the cascade hops, which do really well in this climate.

We've got several varieties of tomato, from beefsteak to cherry, and they're mostly doing well. A few have had a couple flowers, which makes me happy.

Our original cucumbers all got a crew cut from the groundhog, so these are new ones, some regular, some pickling. The front left one already has flower buds.

The corn is really, REALLY happy about all the rain. This is our "Suck It, Monsanto" mini cornfield.

Next to the corn is the garden box where we've got the root veggies: Potatoes, beets, onions, radishes, and carrots. I'm especially excited about beets & carrots.

Then are the pumpkins (left) and butternut squash (right). These are obviously really, REALLY happy. They may take over the yard. And the squash are getting flower buds.

Watermelons to the left, eggplant in the middle (yum!), and lettuce to the right. There were 4 heads of lettuce and the ones there were bigger before either the groundhog or rabbits had a buffet, but they're all coming back.
