Current FACEBOOK SPOTLIGHT Complete Instructions

Thank you SO MUCH for participating in this outreach to promote your fellow HAF members and artisans!  As of this writing, this will run 7  weeks and feature 33 artists!

Those participating have been broken down into five groups (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).  Each week, one member of each group will be spotlighted on your Facebook page.  The member’s name and link will be posted in a date-specific thread entitled, Facebook spotlight for [date] to [date].  Example:

• Group 1: Your artist is [name], [link]
  Group 2: Your artist is [name], [link]
  Group 3: Your artist is [name], [link]
  Group 4: Your artist is [name], [link]
  Group 5: Your artist is [name], [link]
  

Once that post is up, click on the link of your feature artist for the week.  Nose around their link a bit, then go to your FB page and write a post encouraging your likers or friends to visit the featured artist’s link.  Example:

I just love these earrings!  So many things to choose from in this shop.  Check it out!  [featured link]

This is a great Facebook page!  [link]
**or**
The HAF Facebook Spotlight Artist of the Week is [name].  Here is their link:  [link]

After you have posted on your FB page, go back to the appropriate Facebook spotlight for [date] to [date] thread and announce that you’ve posted.  Everyone else in your group can then go to your post, ‘like’ it and comment.  You are not required to post on everyone’s link in all the groups, but there is nothing stopping you from doing so if you would like to!  During the week when you are featured, please promote the Handmade Artists’ Shop (http://handmadeartistsshop.com/) or the Handmade Artists’ Forum (http://handmadeartistsforum.com/forum/index.php) or both – Your choice!

You are only required to post about the featured artist in your own group, not all five groups!  I apologize for not making this more clear!  You're in Group 1, so your post relates to the featured artist in Group 1.  On the other hand, if you'd like to post about all of them, I know they would appreciate it!  Thanks for this great question!
