Oh WOW - those are GORGEOUS!  Are they actually eggs or egg shapes?

They are actually blown out eggs.  People use chicken, emu, ostrich, or duck eggs.  They really are amazing works of art...or some people's are...mine are more like children's art projects while I get the hang of this melted wax drawing!

They are really beautiful. I've seen them for real once when we were in downtown Chicago for some festival. That's one of those things I really miss is being able to go to all the ethnic festivals. Haven't really seen or heard about any here.

I listed a bunch more things in my HAf shop today and I made my first pair of barefoot sandals. Since most people like to go to the beach around here, I thought they just might sell okay.

I made a Pysanky egg once...of course, it didn't look anywhere near as elegant as those, but it was fun to make! ;)

I tried to straighten house a little bit today, but I still don't have much energy and strength at 5 days postpartum. I'll probably just be reading and Internet browsing for the next week. My husband is doing the dishes. :-*

Picked up my jewelry from the art show, and my new display case I bought from a shop that is closing. I sold two of the three pairs of earrings I made, (plus a single silver one special ordered) so I guess I will make a bunch of earrings since those seem to be very popular.

I didn't know you had a baby! Congratulations!

Larissa, looked like a great party. That snake face was awesome especially with the eyes!

Today is clean the house, laundry day. Exciting huh?

Can I join in? I need badly to clean house and do laundry as well!

I've put some listings in my hafshop - I have loads more that I will eventually put there - I'm trying to get organized as I do it!

Those eggs look intense!   :)

Andy came back from his fishing trip yesterday and I did some gardening and got an *awesome* (not really) sunburn on my lower back.  Not even like a full sunburn, but a sliver of a sunburn.   ::)

Today I'm finishing up more booties, giving my son's teachers their gifts and enjoying some more sun!
